For those occasions where scheduled air freight services are unsuitable or unavailable, LSS have the capability to provide customers with complete solutions that utilise a dedicated cargo aircraft.
These solutions are primarily used for cargos that include but are not limited to, weapons and weapon systems, dangerous goods (including “forbidden forbidden” explosives and ammunition), high-value consignments or oversized cargo.

For shipments such as military goods, we have vast experience with recognising the intricacies required to compliantly move such items across the world. This includes transit licences, export and import licences, airport/seaport explosive limitations, overflight permissions/routings and liaison with airport handling agents, overseas armed forces and government agencies.
All charter operations are handled personally by very experienced directors who remain available 24/7 to assist with any last-minute changes and to overcome any challenges.
Overflight Permits & Clearances

Undertaking the completion of Defence flights is notoriously challenging, dangerous and requires expert planning and diligence to obtain all overflying permits, diplomatic clearances, landing permissions and security approvals.
We work with some of the world’s most experienced airlines and agencies to ensure all permits and permissions are obtained in a timely and compliant manner.
With access to every type of cargo aircraft, we can arrange the complete transportation of armaments, munitions/explosives and vehicles, including those that are "forbidden" under IATA regulatory standards.
Our ability to support chartered aircraft is strengthened through our accreditation as a Regulated Agent with the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). This not only allows us to transport Secure Cargo (SPX) from consignor to airport but we can engage directly with the Regulatory Body to create solutions to the unique cargos we frequently transport.
